But while a prevention model-of-care has been well established in leading cancer care guidelines, the concept of lymphedema prevention is relatively unfamiliar to patients.

To help us better understand this landscape, we surveyed lymphedema patients and healthcare professionals to capture the patient experience, explore patient accessibility to lymphedema education, and address factors that make the case to expand access for patients to a lymphedema prevention program.
